Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope radiographic imaging in direct patient care within the radiology department. Maintain strict safety and quality standards at the point of care while modeling proficiency by precepting new staff. Operate in a multidisciplinary team environment, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes through a collaborative approach. Ensure all clinical activities adhere to accredited program standards and current state licensure requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
- State licensure if required by law
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
