Job Summary
Review patient history, physician orders, and schedules; educate patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. Prepare and administer contrast media or medications when ordered, while monitoring patient conditions and reporting status changes. Select exposure factors, position patients, perform imaging procedures, and analyze results to resolve quality issues. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform quality control procedures. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
- State licensure if required by law
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgement
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
