Job Summary
Produce high quality diagnostic images that empower physicians to make accurate, life-saving diagnoses. Advocate for patient safety by strictly managing radiation exposure and meticulously following safety protocols. Execute precision imaging by expertly positioning patients and selecting exact technical parameters. Manage the digital patient record by verifying data accuracy and lead markers before submission to PACS. Maintain a high-readiness environment by monitoring equipment performance and optimizing clinical protocols. This core assignment supports Diagnostic Radiology, including ED portables and inpatient fluoroscopy, with a future transition to 12-hour shifts every third weekend.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
