Job Summary
Coordinate clinical rotations and manage student placement logistics by contacting facilities, arranging day and evening schedules, and maintaining updated notebooks of clinical affiliations and student assignments. Meet with the Director of Radiology to report on facility needs, seek new clinical sites, and ensure all affiliation agreements remain current. Conduct routine clinical visits, complete visit reports, and administer evaluation surveys while assuring students maintain CPR, TB, and MMR certifications. Teach didactic coursework as assigned, collaborate with instructors on student orientation, and monitor student compliance with facility policies and dress codes. Maintain records of student illnesses and unusual occurrences, and support the program with other duties including attending graduations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline
- Minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program
- Holds American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) current registration in radiography or equivalent (i.e., unrestricted state license for the state in which the program is located)
