Job Summary
Perform diagnostic X-ray and ultrasound examinations to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients while maintaining strict adherence to safety, ethical, and regulatory standards. Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment safely, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred imaging services. Prepare accurate documentation and reports, applying strong radiation safety and infection prevention protocols with excellent communication skills. This Level 4 hospital in Nakuru City offers inpatient and outpatient services within the Clinical Services Department.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences
- Minimum of three (3) years' post-internship experience in a facility of similar size
- Valid registration and practising license from the relevant regulatory body
- Proficiency in performing X-ray and ultrasound examinations
- Ability to operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment safely
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection prevention protocols
- Accurate documentation and report preparation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ethical practice
