Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjust equipment settings for proper voltage, current, and exposure time, and prepare equipment for use. Document exam information and report important findings to the physician. Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per policy and adhere to required vaccinations. This part-time role is based in The Dalles, Oregon, at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge, a 49-bed hospital serving the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
