Job Summary
The Radiographer I performs radiographic examinations and integrates scientific knowledge with effective patient interaction to provide quality care. Key responsibilities include assessing patient preparation, ensuring radiation safety, producing quality diagnostic images, verifying patient identity, and employing professional judgment in imaging procedures. Candidates must possess an associate's degree or equivalent and be either registered or registry eligible as an RT-R, with a current Texas CMRT license. This full-time role requires strong technical skills, ethical judgment, and critical thinking.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology
- Registered or registry eligible as an RT-R by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
Desired Qualifications
- Registered or registry eligible as RT-R by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
- Current Texas State CMRT License
- CPR certification
Additional Requirements
- Must be registered within one (1) year after the hired date
- Holds current unlimited Texas CMRT license
