Job Summary
Coordinate treatment planning information between clinical areas and physics. Collaborate with physicians and dosimetry staff to initiate new treatment plans, assist with treatment planning, and perform quality checks on therapy equipment as directed. Mentor and guide radiation therapy staff and students, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Communicate effectively between physicians and the therapy team and provide support for treatment machines while fulfilling daily treatment delivery to patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a 2-year Radiation Therapist Program
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a radiation therapist
- NYS Licensure as Radiation Therapist
