Job Summary

Lead Radiation Therapy Specialist responsible for managing a specific unit within the Radiation Oncology Department, supervising Senior and Staff Radiation Therapists, developing unit programs and departmental policies, and ensuring high-quality treatment delivery. Performs and teaches advanced radiation therapy procedures, coordinates patient immobilization and imaging review, administers prescribed doses per policy, conducts staff training and orientation, contributes to QA programs, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and workflow. Requires an Associate’s Degree in Radiation Therapy (Bachelor’s preferred), MA license in Radiation Therapy, ARRT certification, 3–5 years of clinical experience, and eligibility for responsibilities across clinical, administrative, and educational duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree Radiation Therapy required or Bachelor's Degree Radiation Therapy preferred
  • Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Therapy
  • ARRT certification required
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Clinical Experience 3-5 years required
