Job Summary
Delivers consistent precise therapy to a designated treatment area using radiation-producing equipment while adhering to physician prescriptions and physicist instructions. Performs complex technical procedures, conducts quality control monitoring, and simulates new patients or treatment fields with no errors in the Electronic Medical Record. Assists with patient assessment across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, documents all activities appropriately, and reports adverse reactions immediately to the physician. Participates in on-call rotation and serves as a clinical instructor for RTT and RTR students, providing evaluation and feedback while maintaining strict compliance with WellStar Health System policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- must be graduate of accredited radiation therapy program
- Minimum 2 years Experience in Radiation Therapy Preferred
