Radiation Therapist

Administers radiation therapy as prescribed by a physician in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and orders, educating patients about procedures, collaborating with the physician and dosimetrist to determine and deliver the treatment plan, preparing equipment (linear accelerator) and ensuring safety and quality control, positioning patients and performing imaging, analyzing imaging results, and monitoring patient status. Requires graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program, ARRT(T) certification, and BLS/CPR credentials; duties are performed onsite in a fast-paced clinical environment with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.
