Radiation Therapist

Administers radiation therapy as prescribed by a physician in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and orders, collaborating on treatment plans with physicians and dosimetrists, delivering therapy per plan, ensuring safety and quality control on equipment, preparing the linear accelerator, performing imaging and analysis to optimize image quality, educating patients, monitoring status, and communicating changes. Requires graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program, ARRT(T) certification, and BLS/CPR certification; on-site, no remote option.
