Job Summary
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment while accurately positioning patients and ensuring proper immobilization during treatment. Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy, and document treatments to maintain accurate patient records. This role requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy, AART Certification, a valid state license, and two years of experience. Located in Richmond, Virginia, the position offers full-time pay, weekly on-time payment, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage and 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
- AART Certification in Radiation Therapy
- Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
- 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
