Job Summary
Operate and maintain superficial radiation therapy (SRT) equipment to administer prescribed treatments for dermatologic conditions, including non-melanoma skin cancers. Administer SRT treatments per supervising physician, review treatment plans with patients, ensure patient comfort and safety, document all treatments in the EMR, and maintain accurate treatment records. Prepare treatment rooms, verify patient identity, treatment site, and dosage, perform quality assurance checks, and assist with equipment calibration and maintenance. Educate patients on procedures, expectations, post-treatment care, and follow-up, while collaborating with physicians, medical assistants, nurses, and leadership to support efficient clinic workflow. Maintain radiation safety and comply with federal, state, and organizational regulations. Participate in ongoing training and competency assessments. 20 hours per week, part-time, in Odessa, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program required.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)) required.
- Current state licensure, where applicable.
- Current BLS certification required.
