Job Summary
Performs patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist. Delivers accurate and consistent treatments to patients, prepares patient and chart prior to start of procedure, completes treatment process and coordinates patient scheduling. Uses state-of-the-art equipment and CT simulation/planning techniques (SBRT, SRS, adaptive approaches) for treatment delivery; prior experience in treatment machines and CT simulation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Board Certified by the ARRT
- RT(T)
- R.T.(T)
- Proficient in treatment machines, CT Simulation treatment planning scans, & IV starts
- CT Siemens GoOpenPro
- Minimum Requirements: Education High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: No Experience
- Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy
