Job Summary
Administers therapeutic radiation treatments and performs procedures to set up, plan, and verify the accuracy of treatment delivery using all modem radiotherapy techniques in accordance with department standards, under supervision by the Lead Radiation Therapist. Requires formal therapeutic radiologic technology training, ARRT certification, and California radiologic technology certification, with specialized training in diametric techniques and treatment planning as a preferred qualification; relocation assistance is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactorily completed formal therapeutic radiologic technology training at an approved school.
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire, or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
