Job Summary
Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology role at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and supervision of Senior and Lead Senior Radiation Therapists, the therapist provisions patient care to infant through adult populations, ensures radiation therapy services are provided, and maintains treatment records daily. The role requires JRCERT-approved Radiation Therapy program graduation, ARRT registration, Ohio radiation therapy license, and BLS certification with on-call availability and a flexible schedule. Preferred experience includes MOSAIQ, external beam RT, IMRT, IGRT, CT simulation, stereotactic techniques, and/or brachytherapy. The position supports a dayshift with a rotating on-call schedule and may involve on-site activities within the MetroHealth Radiation Oncology department and related clinical duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Radiation Therapy program through a JRCERT-approved School of Radiation Therapy
- Registered in the Radiation Therapy (T) discipline with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Radiation Therapist Radiologic license from the Ohio Department of Health
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for the American Heart Association (AHA), OR obtains within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work during the hours of operations and adjust one's schedule per patient volumes and workload
- Ability to work on call hours during weekdays and/or weekends per the therapist rotational schedule, and to work on call hours for a minimum of one week per year over one of the major holidays
