Job Summary
Provide radiation treatments and simulation for cancer patients as part of the Radiation Oncology team. Requires ARRT certification, Ohio licensure in Radiation Therapy, and an Associate’s Degree or higher in Radiologic Science or a related Radiation Therapy certification. BLS certification and ongoing maintenance of licensure/certifications are required. Works under the Medical Director and reports to the Department Manager; delivers safe radiation therapy, participates in performance improvement activities, and supports patient advocacy within the Radiation Oncology department. 1 year of experience is preferred, with new therapists welcomed. Location: Beavercreek, OH.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- Licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Radiologic Science or certification in Radiation Therapy
- BLS certification
- Maintain certification as required by licensing bodies
