Radiation Therapist (PRN)

Administer daily radiation therapy treatments to patients assigned to the treatment unit, accurately and efficiently, using Varian TrueBeam technology. Verify treatment positioning and imaging according to established protocols and perform computed tomography (CT) simulation procedures. Document treatments and patient information within Aria and Epic electronic medical record systems. Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other oncology professionals while educating and supporting patients throughout their treatment experience. Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and compassionate care. Participate in orientation and training of new radiation therapists to include treatment unit-specific procedures and protocols.
