Job Summary
Delivers therapeutic radiation and patient care services as prescribed by the physician. Responsibilities include performing patient simulations, delivering prescribed radiation treatment, assessing and educating patients, maintaining medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry, and quality assurance, and taking on other assigned duties such as mentoring employees and participating in department initiatives. Requires various clearances and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(T) in good standing or board eligible (must complete certification within 1 year of hire)
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
