Job Summary
The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering prescribed treatment plans under the direction of radiation oncologists while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality. They should have a comprehensive understanding of ionizing radiation treatment and CT simulation. The role includes verification simulation, on-call responsibilities, and radiation treatment delivery. Candidates need to be certified by ARRT and CPR certified. Experience of 2 or more years in a progressive environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Certified or certification eligible by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
- Certification in CPR- BLS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a progressive environment as a Radiation Therapist
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to take weekday and weekend call
