Job Summary
Radiation Therapist in Radiation Oncology sought to administer safe, accurate radiation treatments per the oncologist's prescriptions, prepare treatment rooms and equipment, capture and maintain detailed treatment data, monitor patients during therapy, and ensure adherence to QA and safety standards. Role supports new grads; benefits include enhanced sign-on bonuses and relocation; requires associate degree, JRCERT-accredited program completion, NMRTT certification, ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy, and NM license within 30 days of hire. Emphasis on collaboration, continuing education, and patient-centered cancer care. Monday–Friday schedule with evenings/weekends free in this PRN role.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program in radiation therapy or suitable equivalent
- NM Radiography Tech (NMRTT)
- Certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy
- Must be certified and licensed by the NM Environment Department's Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program within 30 days of hire
