Job Summary
Administer radiation therapy to treat cancer, including simulations and treatment planning; perform quality assurance activities and weekly chart checks; ensure equipment functionality and safety. Requires IEMA license and ARRT certification, with ARRT eligibility to be obtained within 2 years of employment, and an associate degree or certificate in radiation therapy. CPR certification and strong communication/customer-service skills are required. Responsibilities also include detecting and addressing equipment malfunctions and contributing to patient care across multiple hospital locations (Evanston, Arlington Heights, and Chicago).
Required Qualifications
- IEMA License and ARRT certification required
- Completion of radiation therapy program; minimum of a two-year associate degree/certificate
- CPR certification required
