Job Summary
Interprets and implements radiation treatment prescriptions and delivers simulation procedures while preparing immobilization devices. Assesses treatment machines for daily warm-up and quality assurance, then charts treatment summaries and accurate dosimetry measurements. Monitors patient progress during therapy, provides basic care and education, and manages daily billing for treatment procedures. Schedules and treats patients in a timely manner at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. Performs physical tasks including lifting, ambulating patients, and navigating busy clinical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Tech License in the state of practice, if applicable
- Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
