Job Summary
Interpret and implement radiation treatment prescriptions, delivering and charting simulation and treatment summaries for patients. Perform simulation procedures, prepare immobilization devices, and obtain accurate measurements for dosimetry. Assess treatment machines, perform daily equipment warm-up and quality assurance, and provide accurate daily billing information. Assist in clinical training and evaluation of student therapists while demonstrating effective communication skills. Schedule and treat patients in a timely manner, monitoring clinical progress for treatment symptoms. This role supports the clinical team at Holy Rosary Cancer Center, the only comprehensive cancer center within a 125-mile radius in rural eastern Montana.
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Tech License in the state of practice
- Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
