Job Summary
Interpret radiation treatment prescriptions and deliver simulation procedures while preparing immobilization devices and obtaining accurate measurements for dosimetry. Assess treatment machines, perform daily warm-ups and quality assurance, and chart all treatment summaries. Assist in clinical training, monitor patient progress for treatment symptoms, and provide basic patient care and education. Schedule and treat patients timely while submitting accurate daily billing information.
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Tech License in the state of practice, if applicable
- Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
