Job Summary
Interpret and implement radiation treatment prescriptions, delivering simulation and therapy while charting summaries. Perform simulation procedures, prepare immobilization devices, and obtain accurate measurements for dosimetry. Assess treatment machines, execute daily warm-ups, and conduct quality assurance checks. Assist in clinical training for student therapists and provide basic patient care, education, and progress monitoring. Schedule and treat patients timely, ensuring accurate daily billing for all procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Tech License in the state of practice, if applicable
- Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
