Job Summary
Interpret radiation oncology prescriptions and deliver simulation and treatment summaries for patients. Perform immobilization procedures, obtain dosimetry measurements, and execute daily equipment warm-ups and quality assurance checks. Assess treatment machines, manage patient care during delivery, and monitor clinical progress for symptoms. Assist in clinical training evaluations and provide accurate daily billing information. Schedule and treat patients in a timely, professional manner while maintaining effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Tech License in the state of practice, if applicable
- Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
