Job Summary
Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation per prescription and supports the clinical team through simulation and treatment delivery. Responsibilities include performing simulation, preparing immobilization devices, obtaining measurements and contours for dosimetry, verifying and charting treatment summaries, conducting daily QA and equipment warm-up, assisting in training of students, and delivering basic patient care and education. The role requires effective communication, collaboration with oncology staff, and timely scheduling and billing for treatment procedures. Required qualifications include a state radiology license, ARRT radiation therapy certification, and BLS; a bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy is preferred. Location: St James Hospital, Butte, MT. Shift: Full-time, 36 hours per week with rotating start times. Hourly range: $46.91–$72.39. Required Qualifications
- Radiology Tech License in the state of practice
- Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
