Job Summary
Radiation Therapist II (RTT) delivers prescribed radiation treatments within Radiation Oncology. Responsibilities include positioning patients, delivering radiation from the treatment room, documenting treatment records, monitoring for reactions, providing patient education, and assisting with simulations and QA checks. Requires ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and a minimum of three years’ experience; BS preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology
- Certified as a Registered Radiation Therapy Technologist by the ARRT
- CPR/BLS certifications
- Minimum three (3) years active experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Dual certification as a General Radiographer (ARRT) or CT Technologist preferred
- BS degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or related field preferred
