Job Summary
Radiation Therapist I position performing ionizing radiation treatments per the Radiation Oncologist's prescription. Requires ARRT (T) certification (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification) and BLS. Strong patient-care and teamwork skills with excellent communication. Schedule is 24 hours/week with 8-hour shifts on Tue/Wed/Fri; location is Salisbury, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T)
- ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification)
- BLS, required
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required
- Experience: One to two years of applicable experience, preferred
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
