Job Summary

Radiation Therapist I at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. The role involves applying ionizing radiation to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription, working 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with occasional weekend/holiday on-call. Required Qualifications

  • Certification as a Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T) and BLS
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: One to two years of applicable experience, preferred
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification), required
  • BLS, required
  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
