Job Summary
Radiation Therapist role based in Pella, IA, on-site. Requires graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program and eligibility for ARRT (T) with Iowa Permit to Practice, plus current BLS certification. Must meet IDPH regulations and pass mandatory reporter training within 6 months of hire; strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills are essential. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
- Must be on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (T)
- Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice
- Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge of current IDPH regulation
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required; new employees certify within 3 months
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to work under pressure due to fluctuating workloads and deadlines
- High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others
- Ability to communicate well verbally; must work effectively as a member of a team
- Strong computer knowledge
- Technical skills associated with duties listed within this job description; competent in all assigned areas
- Collaborative and problem-solving skills
