Radiation Therapist - Full Time - Days

Deliver prescribed radiation therapy under the direction of a radiation oncologist, position patients for treatment with image guidance, perform CT simulations, and conduct daily QA checks on linear accelerators and CT/simulation. Train and supervise students, mentor new staff, ensure treatment information accuracy, collaborate with the radiation oncology team (dosimetrist, physicist, and support staff), and maintain patient confidentiality while adhering to policies. Requires NYS licensure in Radiologic Technology with ARRT registration and CPR Certification; typically involves ongoing quality improvement activities and patient safety protocols.
