Job Summary
Radiation Therapist at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute will treat cancer and other diseases by administering radiation treatments per treatment plan under the supervision of a Dosimetrist, Radiation Therapy Physicist, and/or Radiation Oncologist. The role requires maintaining detailed therapy session records, adhering to safety guidelines, and exhibiting strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work remotely as required and adapt to a fast-paced, multi-site environment; candidate should have an Associate's degree (preferred) and 1 year of radiation therapy experience (highly preferred), with a Florida CRT/RTT license, ARRT certification, BLS/CPR certification, and clean driving record. Strong emphasis on communication, problem-solving, patient needs assessment, confidentiality, and teamwork in a clinical oncology setting; familiarity with hematology/oncology/radiation oncology patients is a plus. The role may involve travel to satellite offices and participation in background and vaccination screening processes and compliance with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred in Radiation Therapy or related field
- One year of experience in radiation therapy highly preferred
- Experience with hematology/oncology/radiation oncology patients is a plus
- Licenses/Certifications: Florida CRT/RTT license required; ARRT certification; BLS CPR certification; valid Florida driver's license for travel to satellite offices
- Communication skills in English; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
