Job Summary
Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic parameters accurately while delivering treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrist. Maintains detailed records of therapy sessions, ensures compliance with regulatory agency standards, and submits high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data. Adjusts necessary equipment including linear accelerators and assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department. Requires BLS certification and specific radiology credentials; offers PRN day shift coverage across multiple Middle Tennessee locations within Ascension's nonprofit health system.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiation Therapy credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
