Job Summary
Simulate patients for radiation treatment planning and provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist under general supervision. Deliver treatment plans and procedures while adhering to department policy and radiation protection standards. Complete certification in radiation therapy and achieve board certification within 90 days of hire. Requires BLS CPR certification and an associate or bachelor's degree. Full-time day shift with on-call weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Certification in radiation therapy within 90 days of hire
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, treatment plans and delivery, radiation oncology, and radiation protection
- Board-eligible with board certification within 90 days of program graduation or 90 days of hire
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Radiation Therapy
- BLS CPR certification
