Job Summary
As a Radiation Therapist, you will implement treatment plans prescribed by oncologists and created by medical dosimetrists, utilizing equipment to treat various cancers. Responsibility includes determining and delivering patient treatment plans, monitoring patient conditions, and assessing patient needs while working 5 days a week between Stuart and St Lucie West. Candidates must hold a current ARRT certification and state licensure, along with BLS certification. Experience in radiation oncology is required, while experience with external radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and CT simulation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified Registered Radiation Therapist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Current state licensure in state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience with radiation oncology, specific electronic medical records, recording and verifying
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with external radiation therapy

- IGRT and CT simulation
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with influenza prevention program
