Radiation Therapist (Casual Call, Day Shift)

Administers radiation therapy under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist; performs simulations and simulation radiography (CT, MRI, and PET) to localize the treatment area and confirms the treatment plan with the Radiation Oncologist. Educates the patient regarding the procedure on the first day of treatment. Maintains safety regulations concerning ionizing radiation for self and patients and reports incidents to the Medical Physicist. Attends weekly chart rounds and monthly department meetings. Maintains a safe and clean environment; performs other duties as assigned. Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and ability to work in a busy environment; learns current computer applications and office equipment used at Bozeman Health. Works varied shifts as scheduled with potential on-call requirements.
