Job Summary
Performs daily imaging and delivers daily prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to radiation therapy patients safely and accurately. Interacts effectively with patients, families, physicians, and oncology staff; documents treatment in patient treatment records and inpatient charts; maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality; develops understanding of patient physical and emotional status and communicates to appropriate staff; requires completion of an approved radiation therapy program and ARRT registration; eligible for licensure per state requirements; facility located in Bemidji, MN with PRN/variable shift.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of radiation therapy course from an approved school or accredited program
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
- If working in North Dakota and performing medical imaging or radiation therapy procedures, licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board of Examiners is required
