Job Summary
Administer ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians. Check prescription, diagnosis chart, and patient identification before delivering therapy. Prepare room and equipment for patient treatment, including immobilization devices, and transfer patients to the treatment couch. Observe patients for unusual reactions and signs of developing complications during treatment, reporting any issues to the supervisor and physician. Provide clinical supervision and evaluate students' practical ability to perform procedures. Requires Bachelor's degree in radiological technology, AART-T and RTT certification, and state fluoroscopy permit. Full-time role at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial in San Joaquin County.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T)
- Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
- Fluoroscopy Permit from the state of practice
- ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
