Job Summary
Administer ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians. Deliver prescribed radiation therapy by checking prescriptions, diagnosis charts, and patient identification. Prepare rooms and equipment for patients, immobilize them, transfer them to the treatment couch, and observe for unusual reactions or complications during treatment. Provide clinical supervision and evaluate students' practical ability to perform procedures. Requires Bachelor's degree in radiological technology, AART-T and RTT certification, BLS certification, and Fluoroscopy Permit. Full-time position at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T)
- Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fluoroscopy Permit from the state of practice, Department of Health Services
- ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
