Job Summary
Develop best practice clinical operations for radiation oncology customers, focusing on patient outcomes, care efficiencies, and cost containment. Lead detailed requirements gathering through on-site and remote analysis, translating workflow needs into actionable technical configurations while driving user adoption strategies. Own the mapping of current to future state workflows, conduct gap analysis, and support product training and implementation to ensure optimal solution utilization. Provide onsite support during system Go-Live and immediate post-deployment periods, acting as the clinical resource for project implementation teams. Achieve assigned KSO targets and build long-term client relationships while adhering to all vendor credentialing requirements for site access.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Radiation Therapist or Certified Medical Dosimetrist
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- RTT or CMD
- History of at least 6 years of direct patient care experience
- 8+ years combined experience with Oncology setting and Healthcare Technology vendor(s)
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills with a proven track record of collaborative and consensus-building
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge as it relates to quality, performance improvement, change theory, and health systems
- Proven basic IT knowledge, especially as it relates to intraoperability and infrastructure
- Must have knowledge as it relates to quality, performance improvement, change theory, and health systems
- Must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to gain VMS client site access
- Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN)
- Criminal background checks

- Immunizations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Covid19) or others required to deliver services in a patient care environment
- Annual TB testing
- Healthcare trainings
- Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
- Ability to Travel 75%
Desired Qualifications
- Management and aptitude of standardized guidelines preferred
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software
- Clinical experience in patient care working in an Oncology setting (hospital or free-standing) as a Radiation Therapist, Dosimetrist, Physicist, Oncology Nurse or similar licensed position
- Solid understanding of medical informatics standards
- Knowledge and experience in working with clinical data
- Self-starter, self-motivated, high level of initiative within a fast-paced constantly evolving Healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a proven track record of collaboration and consensus building
- Result focused, ability to solve complex problems and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Communicates and presents effectively; ability to communicate with customer's C-level and with internal Management
- Leads through influence
- Ability to assess baseline workflows and to develop future state workflows through the implementation of various Varian solutions
- Understand patient-to-care-team relationships
- Possess an aptitude in standardized guidelines involving multiple acute and chronic disease diagnosis and treatment modalities
- Possess an understanding of key elements that drive healthcare organizations' business perspectives and the key metrics for payers and providers that focus on quality, patient satisfaction, and cost-based results
- Ability to work in matrixed and unstructured environments
