Job Summary
Provide radiation oncology services at Johnston Memorial Hospital as part of Ballad Health Cancer Care Abingdon, VA. Utilize advanced technologies including Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, Eclipse planning system (SRS, SBRT), 3D and IMRT, and electron treatments. Work with a new GE CT scanner with 4D gating, and EPIC EMR for patient care. Office hours are M-F 7am-3pm; includes signing bonus and moving allowance. The role involves delivering high-quality radiation therapy and coordinating care within a comprehensive cancer program that includes medical oncology, hematology, and infusion services; colocated within a 21-hospital system committed to expanding access to advanced technology. IMGs are noted in the context of licensure discussions for Virginia-based residency programs.
