Job Summary
Provides patient care coordination, clinical support and skilled nursing assessment for radiation/oncology patients. Performs triage of patient inquiries and coordinates appropriate resolution and follow-up. Coordinates and collects information for new patient assessment and scheduling of treatments, conducts skilled nursing assessments, assists physicians with exams and procedures, educates patients on self-care and post-treatment care, and plans strategies for solving patient care problems with the care team. Must hold an LVN license in Texas and have or be pursuing oncology experience/certification; open weekdays and offers competitive wages and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN license issued by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners or LVN Licensure
- At least 1-3 years of radiation/oncology experience or oncology certification preferred
- Acute care nursing or coordination of care experience required
