Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations in a high-volume B2B cross-dock environment, assisting with 3PL services, reverse logistics, and direct-to-consumer workflows. Plan and communicate shift directives to prioritize tasks, drive efficiency, and meet cross-dock targets while ensuring operational KPIs are met. Supervise, coach, and support associates and team leads to foster accountability, accuracy, and quality across receiving, packing, shipping, returns, staging, and quality checks. Monitor and report on key metrics such as units per hour and error rates to support process improvements and lean initiatives. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, manage seasonal staffing needs, and collaborate with the Operations Manager on training, SOP updates, and special projects. Adapt to additional responsibilities as required within a fast-paced, climate-controlled facility where PPE is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or operations role
- Experience in high-volume 3PL
- Experience in retail B2B
- Experience in cross-dock operations
- Experience in reverse logistics/e-commerce fulfillment
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
- Must be willing and able to work rotational shifts
- Must be willing and able to work early mornings or late shifts
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Clean criminal background
- Must have reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the U.S. E-Verify compliance
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30–50 lbs
- Manual dexterity to handle small parts, tools, and inventory labels
- Visual acuity required for reading labels, reports, screens, and packaging instructions
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30–50 lbs (and occasionally more, with assistance)
Desired Qualifications
- Staffing or recruiting experience
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Avionte
- Familiarity with basic process improvement methods
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- English/Spanish proficiency
- Experience supervising teams (up to 40+ associates)
- Strong coaching and conflict resolution skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong focus on accuracy and problem-solving skills
