Job Summary
Radar Systems Engineer III in Huntsville, AL analyzing radar system performance, proposing radar system architectures based on customer requirements, and analyzing radar data using digital signal processing techniques. Responsibilities include creating technical presentations and white papers in support of internal hardware development, creating representative performance models of radar hardware and subsystems, supporting hardware development and demonstrations, and tracking emerging technologies to improve performance or reduce costs for radar applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience
- Ability to understand and apply general radar principles and signal processing methods
- Ability to use computer algebra software such as MATLAB, Python, Mathcad, or Maple
- Ability to develop technical documentation to communicate complex topics to customers
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI DoD Clearance
