Job Summary
Radar Systems Analyst at KBR (Huntsville, AL) – support DoD DoW radar technologies for air and missile defense; develop and maintain Matlab data-reduction/analysis tools; analyze sensor/system data to meet objectives; perform deep-dive data analysis to diagnose shortfalls; contribute to TIMs, program reviews, and integration/test working groups; assist in creating technical documentation and communicate findings to government stakeholders to support model accreditation and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or applicable STEM degree with approximately 2-5 years of experience
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or C++
- Exposure to object-oriented programming
- Fundamental understanding of physical optics, electromagnetic radiation, and/or radar systems and radar performance principles
- Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and develop solutions on schedule
- Ability to travel 15-20% (travel may vary by customer requirements)
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance
