Job Summary

Radar System Engineer to help field next-generation Advanced Surface Navy radars and expand capabilities of existing Surface Navy radars. You will apply signal processing, data analysis, and machine learning/optimization techniques to large radar data sets, perform detailed root-cause analyses of performance observations, and contribute to systems engineering tasks integrating radar, combat system, and missile simulations. You will collaborate with radar engineers, scientists, and software developers, present analysis to sponsors and prime contractors, and grow your radar knowledge under subject matter experts. Eligible candidates should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field, experience with Matlab/Python, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 5%; eligibility for Interim Secret and eventually Top Secret/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent technical degree
  • At least 1 year of engineering-related experience
  • Enthusiasm for and interest in gaining an understanding of radars and/or physics-based phenomena affecting radar or communications systems
  • Familiarity with Matlab, Python, or similar mathematical analysis tools
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time if needed
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret level security clearance by start date and ultimately obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required
