Job Summary
Contribute to all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, including trade studies, development of CONOPS, system architecture, requirements definition and allocation, traceability, integration, verification, and qualification. Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS, radar mode algorithm development, and system performance assessments. Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and C++ while performing daily tasks in a classified and controlled lab environment. Participate in hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and hands-on laboratory testing to support verification, validation, flight test, production, and post-deployment activities. Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders. This role is on site in El Segundo, California, with up to 10% travel, and requires an active U.S. government issued security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience in Systems Engineering
- Experience with radar algorithm design
- Experience with requirements development
- Experience with software/hardware integration
- Experience with data analysis using Matlab
- Experience with configuration management
- Knowledge of radar fundamentals
- Programming experience in Python
- Programming experience in MATLAB
- Experience troubleshooting electronic or system-level issues
- Experience with signal processing
- Experience with control theory
- Experience with statistics
- Experience with information theory
- Experience with detection methods
- Experience with Imaging/pattern recognition
- Experience with Data filtering
- Experience with Kalman filtering
